Craig D. Stowers

 

Craig Douglas Stowers joins Houston A+ Challenge with 10 years of teaching experience, most recently as an AVID and Communications teacher at Humble High School. While at Humble High, Craig also acted as the Junior Varsity Boys Basketball and Assistant Track Coach. He earned his B.S. in Corporate Communication from Lamar University. Craig attributes much of his success to his plethora of mentors, and to being one of 13 siblings – the son of a drill sergeant and Sunday School teacher. His parents always emphasized education. Craig feels that for him, teaching is truly a calling, one in which he is proud to play a part.
