Destiny J. Evans

 

Destiny J. Evans comes to Houston A+ Challenge with nine years of experience in education.  For the past two years, she has served as the Science Specialist at Elsik Ninth Grade Center in Alief ISD. Prior to that, she spent seven years as science instructor at the middle and high school levels while serving as Student Council co-sponsor, afterschool instructor, mentor to new teachers, and member on the Education Improvement Council. Destiny holds a B.S. in Biology and a Masters in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University. She currently is working to earn her Principal Certification from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. Destiny brings her relentless drive for student achievement, her passion for instruction, her results-focused leadership and her commitment to on-going learning to the Houston A+ Challenge program.
