Rosalyn Sweat

Rosalyn Sweat comes to Houston A+ Challenge with 10 years of experience as a teacher and Assistant Principal. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Prairie View A&M University and her Master’s degree from Texas Southern University. Her most recent leadership role in education was as an Assistant Principal of Aldine Ninth Grade School. As a leader, Rosalyn embraces a holistic style by focusing on establishing a safe and nurturing learning environment to foster the development of the whole child.  Her goal is to be a campus leader who develops self-discipline, an attitude of responsibility, and a commitment to accept moral and ethical values in her students. She stands firmly in her philosophy that “Failure is not an option.”
